Goofing off in our rooftop today.

Hay, I can’t wait to be in an actual beach to make the most of all this sun!

Until tomorrow

So finally, I get to have a summer vacation! And I get to do it in steady San Antonio, Zambales. We stayed in a mainland resort but visited two islands via boat and cheerful spirits.

The aftermath of this weekend getaway is burned skin and a two-day bout with stomach problems. But also: a clearer mind, long overdue conversations, time to finish Ilustrado, beautiful shells, islands to dream of in my subconscious universe, sunlight to summon when my heart needs warmth, and rest. Blissful rest.

“It’s easy to run, it’s hard to run away. The mind is willing but the heart is weak.” – thoughts totally unrelated to this post, but thoughts formed in the duration of this reflective moment.

Wearing: thrifted top, bag from the souvenir shop of a temple in indonesia.

And I’m not even entirely sure yet if I’m actually building a new blog even after successive reposts! If these were drugs I’d be dead meat – I relapse all too easily.

But it’s kind of ridiculous to let go of something you really like so let’s see if a new “platform” shall work (first of all skipping the entire photo hosting step already feels awesome). Also, I kind of like this 0-0 status right now. I’ll just wait until they find me again xp

And maybe the move speaks of the forgiveness and tabula rasa necessary to incorporate thoughts and words between fabrics and all sorts of gratuitous posterity. Which is all more me, in the first place.
