Walking on the ‘Dinosaur Spine:’ Mt. Batulao, Batangas

BATULAO (811 masl) – It’s one of the most popular hike destinations in the Southern Tagalog Region!

And with good reason: the “new trail” is basically a traverse through 12 mini-peaks that offers a scenic, sprawling view of Balayan Bay and even Taal and Mt. Maculot on a clear day.

Because it’s a very easy and accessible trail, expect hundreds of other hikers if you choose to hike on a weekend. Make sure to wear proper covering especially for your arms, neck, and head so you don’t get burnt!

I got super ganado to edit videos last weekend! So I was able to make recaps for my back-to-back Feb hikes. I’m thinking of revisiting and cutting my Siquijor trip footage as well!
