First attempt at a “joy” purchase post-closet purge (well actually Ranie paid for this): scored a very unique-looking duster yesterday for less than P500! I want to find infinite feasible opportunities to throw it on.
DRINKING: A cup of Via Brew from the gift pack I won from yesterday’s Cultural Night raffle. I was originally handed a beautiful white desk lamp (perfect for the new room!) but the flustered Japanese girl realized that I was supposed to receive a tumbler instead 😦 Oh well! A gift is a gift and nice coffee is nice coffee.
READING: A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James. I am taking a break from the female memoirs I have been reading back-to-back: Joan Didion, Carrie Brownstein, Gloria Steinem, Piper Kerman, etc.
WRITING: About Nepal, living independently, ICT in the Philippines, and some personalities. Can’t wait for the official piece for Romi to come out over the weekend!
EXCITED ABOUT: PICO DE LORO THIS WEEKEND! WE WILL CLIMB THAT FREAKIN’ MONOLITH WE WILL WE WILL WE WILL
FRUSTRATED ABOUT: Traffic and the fact that fiber internet is not available in our area!
THANKFUL FOR: Ranie, who can still be cute sometimes. Holiday spirit still being palpable even as I’m essentially out of happy money (but spending for the future, for a change! A nice state to be in). The flexible working hours. The feeling that I am productive. December, my favorite month
PLANNING FOR: Furniture acquisitions, next year’s planner, how to have 1 million by next year, better and better things.
